Top IITs in India – NIRF Engineering Ranking 2025
According to the 2025 NIRF Engineering Rankings, IIT Madras has secured the No. 1 position for the 9th consecutive year, making it the top engineering institute in India. The rankings also show that 9 IITs are among the top 10 engineering colleges in the country, highlighting the strong reputation of the Indian Institutes of Technology.Currently, India has 23 IITs. These institutes are known for their excellent education, research, and placement opportunities.

 About IITs in India
